Modern Muslims are not suffering from a shortage of content. They are surrounded by claims — scientific, historical, political, therapeutic, religious — presented with unequal care. What is missing is not another reminder, but a disciplined path that teaches how belief is verified, how evidence is weighed, and how the mind becomes obedient without becoming passive.
This is the very tradition of al-Ghazali and al-Taftazani — the central path of the masters — and it still lives in the North African inheritance of Imam al-Sanusi. Aqida: Risala Ibn Abi Zayd
A Maliki creed doorway — concise doctrine, a communal baseline, and vocabulary for later verification.
Al-Hafida
A first Sanusian primer, introducing the architecture of rational judgment and creed.
Al-Muqaddimat
The foundations of proof, judgment, and theological method before the full Umm al-Barahin sequence.
Umm al-Barahin

What is expected of you

Open to serious students. Arabic is helpful but not required for the Diploma.
The Faculty
Learn to think like a scholar of the tradition
Teaching is led by Darul Fath, in association with Safina Society and Arkview — scholars trained in both the traditional isnad and the modern academy.
Dr. Abdurrahman Mihirig
Postdoctoral Fellow in Philosophy at Christ Church, University of Oxford, with graduate training from Harvard and LMU Munich. He studied the traditional sciences under scholars including Shaykh Saeed Fodeh and Dr. Aref Nayed.
Uthman Qureshi
Co-founder and Executive Director of Darul Fath, a lifelong student of Dr. Shadee Elmasry. He studies Maliki fiqh, kalam, usul, mantiq, and tasawwuf under teachers including Shaykh Ahmed al-Maghili.
Shaykh Murabit Benavidez
Embraced Islam at nineteen and pursued sacred knowledge in Syria and the deserts of Mauritania, studying Arabic, fiqh, aqida, and tasawwuf under scholars including Murabit al-Hajj.
Shaykh Harun Saleh
A Rutgers graduate and current student at Al-Azhar University, trained traditionally in Maliki fiqh, usul, mantiq, and hadith, with research on contemporary Maliki rulings.

Foundational creed, the Sanusian primers, tasawwuf, usul, and logic — the vocabulary of the whole tradition.
Certificate in Kalam & ‘Aqliyyat
Later Ash’ari kalam, hikma, adab al-bahth, usul, and bilingual spiritual reasoning.
Advanced Certificate
The Dusuqi commentary spine, advanced usul, ilm al-wad‘, and mature verification.
