Sanusi Academy  ยท  Online  ยท  Level 1 begins September 12, 2026

An unbroken inheritance

View the world through
the eyes of a scholar.

A structured online program in the rational sciences of Sunni Islam โ€” spanning creed, logic, usul, hikma, debate, and tasawwuf โ€” that gives you a coherent way to think and see the world.

In association with Safina Society ยท Darul Fath

An unbroken inheritance

Learn to reason as the
giants of the tradition did.

The rational sciences of creed, logic, usul, and disciplined debate are how the great scholars of Sunni Islam reasoned, taught, and handed down certainty โ€” in an unbroken chain reaching back to the Prophet ๏ทบ. This is the very tradition of al-Ghazali and al-Taftazani, the central path of the masters themselves, and it still lives and breathes in the North African inheritance. Here you study it directly, learning not only what they concluded but how they thought, and take your place within it.

Proof

Kalam as verification

Students learn how belief is known, how evidence is ordered, and why rational judgment matters for worship, prophecy, and salvation.

Inheritance

The Sanusian spine

The curriculum moves through concise Maghribi texts into the central Sanusian creed sequence, beginning in English and advancing toward Arabic commentaries.

Adab

Study without polemics

Logic, debate, tasawwuf, and usul keep intellectual work anchored in spiritual accountability, precision, and disciplined disagreement.

Who it is for

For deep thinkers
in every field.

Whatever your discipline, the same Ash'ari kalam tradition that shaped Imam al-Ghazali, Imam al-Sanusi, and centuries of thinkers gives you a coherent way to see the world โ€” clarity without polemics, tradition without obscurity, confidence without arrogance.

  • The liberal arts. Writers, historians, and humanists tracing how a living intellectual tradition reasons about meaning, ethics, and being.
  • Medicine & the sciences. Practitioners who confront life, death, and certainty, and want a rigorous framework for the questions data cannot answer.
  • Law & public life. Those who argue, judge, and persuade for a living, sharpening their reasoning against a centuries-old science of proof.
  • Technology & engineering. Builders drawn to formal logic and first principles who want to ground their work in enduring questions of truth.
